“Ty Lok Yi is a Hong Kong artist and MFA candidate at UCLA Design Media Arts, working across experimental animation and interactive installation. Her practice examines how internal and external environments shape human emotion, agency, and physical experience. Through experimental moving image and interactive experience, she constructs narrative systems that range from intimate, emotional expressions to real-time explorations of power, obedience, and the body. A graduate of the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, her work has been showcased internationally at FILE, Videoformes, and Image Forum Festival.:
