Dai Xianya is an interdisciplinary media artist and designer. Her work interrogates how technological, ecological, and social infrastructures constitute corporeal and territorial conditions of existence through apparatuses of power and governance.

Rather than treating technology as a neutral instrument, Dai considers it a material and political language embedded within infrastructures, institutions, and environments.

Dai graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with an undergraduate degree in Art and Technology and is currently an MFA candidate in Media Arts at UCLA.
